Certain things go along with fall; one of those things is caramel corn. Store bought caramel corn is good, but homemade caramel corn is a million times better. My mom and I use this caramel corn recipe every year. It's easy, fast, and delicious. It's even easy enough to make in my dorm room at college.

- 2 regular sized bags of microwavable popcorn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- Large, clean brown grocery bag
What to do:
- Pop popcorn as directed on package and put in the brown grocery bag.
- In a large microwave safe bowl combine brown sugar, salt, butter, and white corn syrup.
- Bring to a boil in the microwave then cook on high for an additional 2 mins.
- Remove from microwave and stir in baking soda.
- Pour over popcorn in the bag.
- Close bag and shake.
- Cook in bag on high for 1 min.
- Remove, shake, and cook for another 1 min.
- Pour out onto plate or pan and allow to cool.
